Dr. Ira Ray, an MBBS from Kolkata University, D. Bact. from London University & Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph. D) from Kolkata University is an eminent personality and a Doctor by profession, is one of the Trustees in the board of MSFH India (Trust). Over her extensive 30 years of long professional journey she has worked on various prominent designations, to name some, Additional Director General of Health Services of Govern of India , looking after all the national programmes; Founder Director of the National Institute of Biologicals to undertake Quality control of biological in the country; National Consultant with World Health Organization (W.H.O) and has been associated with Hospital Services Consultancy Corps (HSCC) as a Senior Consultant on setting up First Referral Unit (FRU) at district levels initiated by the Ministry of Health (MOH), Govt. of India. She also was associated with Drug Controller Generals Department, Advisor to ICMR as the Chair/member of Scientific Advisory Committees of various institutes and selection committees. She has also been awarded the Fellowship, by British Council, for D.Bact. Dr Ray has published various manuals and papers on quality control of vaccines, biological, HIV diagnostic kits, immunization for elderly etc. She has represented India on various international forums, presented country papers and chaired various sessions on AIDS, Production and standardization of Biologicals, Immunization, Polio eradication & several other disciplines at Geneva, Paris, Bangkok, Washington, and Stockholm etc. Dr Ray has been on the Board of MSFH India (Trust) since the inception from the year 2006 and ever since is playing a very pivotal role in every aspect of the organization. She is been an icon and a role model for younger generation.
