OT Nurse
Main Purpose
Organise and carry out all nursing activities related to the operating theatre (OT) running, according to MSF health protocols, universal hygienic standards and in coordination with the surgeon and anaesthetist, in order to ensure a smooth functioning of the surgical activities (pre, during and post-operative care) offered to patients.
Essential Criteria
- Nursing degree with specialisation as a theatre nurse essential.
- Valid Nursing Council registration
- Experience in supervising and management
- 4-5 years of work experience in similar role
- Ability to work well as a part of a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload and use initiative
- Willingness to work in unstable areas and ability to cope in a difficult and unpredictable environment
- Available for a minimum period of nine months
